        My Kia Rio (LX) sat on the lot for a year, obviously due to the manual transmission. With 3,000 miles on it, I was out the door for $11k. After almost three years, it has performed extremely well. The steering and handling is nimble and responsive. Controls are simple and within easy reach. The AC is underpowered and doesn't cool the car effectively. The interior is spacious and the trunk is larger than expected. Keep the tach at or below 2,000 and you'll get 40 mpg all day long. I had to replace the junk dealer tires, but everything else has been flawless. I wish it had cruise control, a keyed trunk, and a louder radio.…
